Jack Grealisk was not included in the first English team of Thomas Tuchel and the playmaker of Manchester City was told to find a new club in the summer transfer window
Jack Grealisk is told to leave Manchester City and become a member of Tottenham, with a summer transfer 'nailed'. Grealish, 29, has passed a difficult season at Etihad, so he did not score any goal in the Premier League.
His matte shape saw him from the first team of Thomas Tuchel as manager of England, with a lot of competition in the broad areas. Injuries obstructed his progress earlier this season, but even though they were available for all matches of City in 2025, all three of his starts have come to the FA Cup since the turn of the year.
The former captain of Aston Villa has left his contract for two and a half years, but he will be tipped for the exit door this summer. Former striker of Watford Troy Deeney believes that Tottenham would be a good fit for Grealiskh, who 'was left in the cold' by Baas Pep Guardiola.
“I think it is nailed that he will leave now,” Deeney told Talksport. “I said this before, I think Pep Guardiola is one of the best coaches we've ever seen. But I don't think he treated the Jack Grealish Slash Kevin De Bruyne situation well this year. I think he left them in the cold.”
Deeney continued to say that a move to Noord -London, he could see the regular football that he needs so badly: “He will have to leave and I don't think he will not have a shortage, but I think it is a huge situation for him now.
“He may have to lower his expectations in terms of wages and where he plays, but you could definitely see him somewhere like Spurs week in, week out and tries to go up, but for Jack it is about staying fit and to play consistently.”
Tottenham was interested in signing Grealisk in 2018 after Villa had missed promotion back to the Premier League. However, the range of Spurs of £ 25 million was rejected and they refused to pay the asking price of the £ 40 million villains.
Three years later, after shining for Villa in the top flight, the city has strengthened a record of £ 100 million to praise him from his boys' club. Although Grealisk has won six trophies during his time in Manchester, he did not live up to his price tag and missed the English team for Euro 2024 last summer.
Should Jack Grealiskest City leave to become a member of Tottenham? Say in the commentary part.
Earlier this month, the 29-year-old was noticed with friends in a social club before images of him originated on a night out in Newcastle the same evening. Guardiola replied by saying that he will judge his players on what they do on the field and say: “A day off is a day off.
“They have a private life to do what they want. I am not going to determine what they do in their private life. I judge what I see on the field, the training sessions and the performances in the game.”
