The minimal role of Jack Grealisk for Manchester City this season can lead to a relocation of the citizens for the £ 100 million people, because one club could be attractive thanks to one player in particular
The WhatsApp group of Jack Grealisk with James Maddison could be brought out of the archives after Tottenham Hotspur was linked to the signing of the Manchester City star. This season, the 29-year-old is a BIT part player for the Premier League champions and only gained 605 minutes of action in what a disastrous defense of their competition crown has been.
The will of Savinho, Jeremy Doku, Phil Foden and Bernardo Silva have been preferred by Pep Guardiola in the wide positions and leaves Grealish in the cold. The legendary boss may be subject to an excavation by the English star after their 2-1 FA Cup quarter-final victory over Bournemouth on Sunday.
Although it was a permanent starter in the FA Cup campaign of the city, Grealisk was relegated to the bank, but in the 69th minute in Foden replaced Foden in what his first performance was since a short Cameo against Spurs on 27 February.
After the game, the wing player went to Instagram and perhaps he pointed a jibe on his lack of action on the field when placing: “Was nice to finally be back. Away support was incredible … Wembley next.”
Despite a trophy -loaded career in Manchester who has seen Graalish, three league titles and a UEFA Champions League claim, he needs consistent football if he wants to fight his way back in Thomas Tuchel's English team.
Grealisk was a remarkable but deserved omission of the first international team of the German earlier this month and with the World Cup who was approaching next year, he could be new to look. A club that is linked to signing the Maverick player is Spurs.
It was a movement that reportedly stood on the cards in the summer of 2018 after the loss of Aston Villa in the play-off final to Fulham. Grealish, however, stayed with his boy's club in the championship and earned promotion to the Premier League the following season.
A switch to the LilyWhites would reunite with Maddison with whom he not only shares a close friendship, but is also a member of the same WhatsApp group called 'The Avengers'. Also with Dele Alli, Ben Chilwell, Ross Barkley and John McGinn, the Spurs star revealed the existence of the chat in an interview with ex-Hull City star David Meyler.
“We have a small group cat called The Avengers,” Maddison admitted. Grealishe claimed that he or the midfielder of the former Leicester City are the biggest culprits to be constantly alert in the chat. “Me or Madders,” he told UMM's assumptions in 2021.
“At that time (Maddison) is on the group chat 24/7. Someone writes in it and then Bam, he is immediately ready. Constant there. Then there are people like cold, he would be online and he wouldn't read it.”
GREALISH – who reportedly earns £ 300,000 a week in the city – could be a difficult deal to complete for traces whose rigid wage structure would probably prevent such a transfer.
