“It was a privilege to grow here and to be part of such a special organization. I am also enthusiastic about the next chapter with Manchester City.

It is a dream come true, and I am enthusiastic about what awaits us. “
The sports director of New York City, David Lee, added: “We are incredibly proud to see Christian reach this incredible milestone in his career. “For Christian to get the chance to continue his journey in Manchester City, a club at the height of world football, is proof of his hard work, talent and dedication. I can't wait to follow his career and To see how to see how well, he is going to do it in Manchester, knowing that he will give everything he can to reach the highest level that he can possibly be in football. “
McFarlane will be the fourth signing of City of the transfer star of January after the club had eliminated nearly £ 150 million on Omar Marmoush, Abdukodir Khusanov and Vorror Reis. The deal is another internal transfer between clubs in the operation of the Stadsvoetbalgroep, after the move from Savinho to the Etihad of Troyes in the summer.
