Pep Guardiola says that Manchester City has to sell players to prevent an unfortunate team.
City has already made three signing sessions this summer because they want to improve on an underwhelming 2024-25 campaign.
Rayan Ait-Nouri, Rayan Cherki and Tijjani Reijners have joined Wolves, Lyon and AC Milan respectively, where the trio arrives on time to appear at the World Championship of Club.
More signing sessions are expected, although Guardiola also emphasized the need to cut the team to prevent players who will not be frustrated regularly, with a lack of minutes.
“I would like to have the players we now have all season,” said Guardiola, according to ESPN, for the collision of the city with all Ain.
“I would love it. I have no complaints about the players, how they behave.
“The problem is that they will be unhappy during the season. They will be sad, they will be disappointed. I don't want that. It is no problem for me.
“I do that for them. So that's why we have to see what is happening. We still have a long time, I would say until the transfer window will be closed.”

Jack Grealish, Kyle Walker and Kalvin Phillips are expected to be all available for a transfer.
None of the trio made the trip to the United States for the club World Cup, while James McATee was also omitted and instead for England at the European championships below 21.
Ilkay Gundogan is now reportedly interesting for Turkish Giant Galatasaray.
“I know nothing,” Guardiola said when he was asked about the future of Gundogan. 'I didn't talk to him, and if he didn't be part [of the squad] He would not be here.
“But at the same time we now have one [big] Squad, too many players, so we can't go with 26, 27 players this season because there would be more without playing, and step by step maybe a few players can move.
“But at the moment Ilkay is definitely a part of my mind and the team.”
