Haaland shocks punters by going FISHING as City star takes advantage of UCL exit

Fans stayed behind Starstruck after spotting Erling Haaland -fishing in Cornwall this week.

The striker went on a sea fish trip when he took the most out of an unexpected midweek after Manchester City was dumped out of the Champions League last month.

Haaland was spotted on Monday in Newquay, Cornwall – about 315 miles away from his house in Manchester.

The 24-year-old bait-in a multi-colored fleece gang with a narrow friend and even managed to land a fish on the excursion.

The Prem Hitman hit in Cornish Waters in the hope of catching a few pollocks before he was noticed by fans.

He did not hang around too long, but stayed long enough to take pictures with fans when he returned to the country near Towan Beach.

And a young city supporter was lucky to have Haaland signed his signature on the back of his sky -blue shirt.

Norway International reportedly flew on a private helicopter during a stay in North Fistral.

Local crack Tamblin said: 'He went on a fishing trip. He seemed to be alone.

“He said he caught something, but wanted to get away quickly before everyone saw him.”

Local fisherman Dave Trebilcock took Haaland, his best friend and private chef from fishing on board his Boot Che-Sara-Sara.

Trebilcock told a local newspaper: “It all came about when one day I was called randomly by another boat operator to fish out.

“They couldn't take them out because their boat was on the quay.

“The journey was top secret. Thanks to the time I was told that the person I grabbed was a superstar, so it was all quiet. '

Haaland played 90 minutes on Saturday Lunch of the 1-0 defeat of City against Nottingham in the Midlands.

Without a midweek European, City plays the next game Brighton on Saturday.

Haaland clearly used an unlikely downtime.
