Son Heung-Min scored his first goal in MLS while Los Angeles FC 1-1 pulled with FC Dallas, with teammate Nkosi Tafari who described his beautiful free kick as a work of art.
Son did not waste time to be informed after his arrival from Tottenham, to win a penalty as a replacement for his debut against the Chicago Fire and then to register an assist against the Revolution of New England at his first start.
But his best moment came to Toyota Stadium on Saturday, when he hit a great free kick past Dallas goalkeeper Michael Collodi in the sixth minute in the sixth minute.
The strike by Logan Farrington was bent for a 13th minute equalizer and Lafc were made to settle for a point despite dominating the second half, with a collection of 1.45 expected goals (XG) to the 0.37 of the hosts.
The result, however, extended their undefeated run to three games, and they are fourth in the Western Conference, 12 points of leaders San Diego FC with three games in hand.
“We practiced free kicks the day before,” said defender Tafari. “I looked at the top corner and, just like magic, the ball ended up there. I was incredibly happy for him.
“The first three games of this guy – hang it in the Louvre! He deserves a penalty and then gets an assist and then gets a goal.
“I don't know what will happen next week! That is up to him, but he does a phenomenal task and I love his energy.”

Vancouver was twice behind the goals of Eduard Lowen and Joao Klauss, with Brian White and Daniel Rios both scoring equalizers.
But the decisive moment came when a long VAR review ended with Mykhi Joyner who was punished for stumbling Mathias Laborda in the box, and Muller shot his kick in the roof of the net in the 104th minute.
