Barcelona boss Hansi Flick has been hit with a two-match touchline ban in La Liga following his dismissal from Real Betis.
La Blaugrana were left frustrated in Andalusia as the home side took a point in extra time with a 2-2 draw.
Flick was sent to the stands of the Estadio Benito Villamarin after his angry reaction to a penalty awarded to his team.
After a VAR review, and before the penalty was converted to tie the game at 1-1, referee Alejandro Muniz dismissed Ruiz Flick.
The German coach explained his confusion over the incident during his post-match press conference, claiming he did not know the reason for his expulsion.
However, according to reports from Mundo Deportivo, La Liga Flick is now expected to impose a two-match league ban for Barcelona's final two games of 2024.
He will be in position for the midweek UEFA Champions League away trip to Borussia Dortmund, but is set to miss the next home games against Leganes and rivals Atletico Madrid.
