Liverpool is the latest Premier League club connected to a shock for England captain Harry Kane and an icon of top flights has now given the movement its support
Alan Shearer says it would be a no-brainer for Liverpool to chase Harry Kane if the captain of England decides to go back to the Premier League in the summer go if the striker will most likely break his record of Premier League Goalscores.
Kane, 31, came to Bayern Munich from Tottenham last summer in an attempt to win big trophies. After a rare bars campaign for Bayern last year, Kane seems to achieve that goal in the coming months, while the German giants close the Bundesliga title.
After they have surprised people with his decision to move abroad, there was a lot of speculation about Kane who returned to England in the future.
Such speculation is intensified after the Kane contract emerged, contains a release clause. And the rumor mill went into overdrive after El Nacional was claimed that Liverpool would be shock candidates to sign Kane if he came back to England.
If Kane would return to these coasts, he would have Shearer's of all time Premier League target record – which is on 260 – in his sights – but that did not stop Shearer from endorsing the reported interest of Liverpool.
The Dagpundit match said to Betfair: “Liverpool will be looking for a center-forward in the summer, I have no doubt and Harry Kane would be a great option for them because of the size of the club and he will score goals.
“Whether Harry decides to stay in Germany or he decides to return to the Premier League, he will have options. I have always said that if he returns to the Premier League, he will have a real, really good chance of breaking my record. I am a great admirer of him.”

Although it is still too considered whether Kane will be on the move this summer, Liverpool will almost certainly find a new No. 9, where Darwin Nunez is struggling this period for the goal.
The side of Arne Slot is still on track to win the Premier League title, with the rest of their forward line fires. A movement for Kane could split the opinion – especially given his long band with Tottenham, who are more than once connected to a beautiful blow to their old Talisman.
A release clause in Kane's contract might facilitate a movement if the striker received offers this summer. Last month he spoke to comment on reports about a release clause and said: “What I can say is that I am very happy at FC Bayern. No commentary on the clause.”
