The winning FA Cup target of Manchester United against Leicester should not have been.
But the header of Harry Maguire in injury time to make 2-1, was allowed to stand in the FA Cup thanks to a rule.
The United Defender was good offside when Bruno Fernandes crossed the ball to set up the winner.
But the Regelman missed it, despite the fact that ITV commentator Lee Dixon describes it as “miles offside”.
Normally VAR would put it off, but the use of video technology is not used in this round of the FA Cup.
The FA was decided that VAR would only be used from the fifth round.
VAR was previously used in the FA Cup in the third and fourth rounds, but only in Premier League stadiums “because of the infrastructure, workforce and costs required for its operation.”
The FA said in a statement: “Video assistant referees (VAR) are only used in the FA Cup 2024-25 Emirates from the fifth round.
“It has been agreed that VAR will be used for every competition in the fifth round of the competition to the final in Wembley Stadium, and will not be in operation for the third and fourth rounds.
“VAR was previously used in the Emirates FA Cup for competitions in Wembley Stadium and on Premier League grounds due to the infrastructure, workforce and costs required for its operation.

“This decision ensures that there is a consistent referee approach for all clubs participating in the same phase of the competition.”
Leicester Boss and United Legend Ruud van Nistorrooy were furious with the decision after full -time.
Leicester -Manager of Nistorrooy, who spoke to ITV, said: “We are not defeated in Fergie -time, we are defeated in offside time.
“This was not necessary. You have VAR in a few centimeters, a few centimeters, this was half a meter, clear in line. That was hard to take because the team deserves to draw. Then extra time, stay in it Game, you never know what is happening.
“We deserved to go into extra time, to go for the fight in extra time and perhaps fines.
“Decisions like these are difficult to swallow in our level.”
Another united big in Roy Keane did not stop because he stated: “De Lijnman has to see it [Maguire being offside]. United came out of prison tonight. The implementation itself was not nearly enough. “
Leicester opened the score only three minutes before half-time with Bobby de Cordova-Reid who threatened United with another upset loss.
The Red Devils, however, came for 68 minutes the same as replacement Joshua Zirkzee for the controversial winner of Maguire in the third minute of the stop time.
