Mikel Arteta hinted that Kai Havertz returned from an injury for Arsenal against Newcastle United on Sunday.
Havertz had to undergo an operation for a hamstring injury in February and seemed to miss the rest of the season.
However, he could appear in Arsenal's last two games of the Premier League season.
Despite missing the last three months, Havertz is still the top scorer of Arsenal in the top of the top this season, with nine goals. In general, he has scored 15 times in all competitions, also a team -high.
'We're going to decide that [on Saturday]. He has done certain parts of the sessions for the past two days, “Arteta said reporters prior to Sunday's game.
“He looks in excellent condition, but the medical staff must give up and how Kai feels. [It’s] Unbelievable, it is a credit for him and the medical staff and they have pushed each other.
“We know how important Kai is for us. He looks in excellent condition … and you see the transformation on him, which is really impressive.”
Arsenal has to close second place in the competition, despite the fact that the position has held a large part of the season, but a victory on Sunday will confirm their place in the Champions League of next season.
However, if they lose from Newcastle, the side of Eddie Howe will jump in the table.
Newcastle has won three games against Arsenal this season, 1-0 in the Premier League and 2-0 in both legs of the EFL Cup semi-final on the way to winning the trophy.
However, Arsenal has only lost one of their last 20 Premier League matches against Newcastle (W17 D2) and won 11 of the last 12, while they signs the other signs. Their last loss against the Magpies on Home Turf was back in November 2010.
“It is also our chance to finish in second place,” Arteta added. “We need a big one [performance]Be very clinical.
“How thin the margins are with [Newcastle] And how clinically we have to stand for them to score the goals.
“It has been a phenomenal effort of all under the circumstances. The last home game is always a special occasion, and it is our chance to complete Champions League qualification.
“A wonderful moment to thank all our supporters who have been on every trip and in every ground.”
