Kai Havertz shared an update from the hospital bed after a seasonal injury.
The Arsenal Forward tore his hamstring during the club's training camp in Dubai last week.
The 25-year-old has now released an update from the hospital after a successful operation.
He went to social media and said: “The last few days were difficult to process both physically and mentally.
“But yesterday was a good day. A successful and a victory.
“Thank you for all the support of support in recent days, it really helped.
“I am now focused on my trip to full fitness and give all the support I can give to the team in the background.”
The absence of the German international had left Arsenal -Baas Mikel Arteta with only three healthy attackers at his disposal; Raheem Sterling, Leandro Trossard and the 17-year-old Ethan Nwaneri.
For a large part of the game, Arsenal seemed predictable toothless to Leicester, until £ 33 million summer signing of Mikel Merino was introduced to play as an auxiliary attack.
In the week it was reported that Arteta and his coaches had identified the Spaniard as the qualities to play in the front, even though it was a midfielder of trade.
And it turned out to be a genius, because Merino went home a cross from Nwaneri to open the score before he went home at the far pole to seal a 2-0 win.
Arteta and the Gunners Faithful will hope that Merino and Co will continue to deal with their first choice front line.
There had been hope that Bukayo Saka would return next month, but Sunsport exclusively revealed how the English international had been set to the sidelines for eight weeks – who pushed his expected return date to mid -April.
