In an interview with Téléfoot, France Didier Deschamps was asked if he believes that Paul Pogba (31) has the opportunity to return to his best after serving a ban of 18 months.
Pogba is forced to train alone since he received a first 4-year ban after a drug test had found a forbidden substance in his bloodstream. This prohibition was later reduced to 18 months and the midfielder has now been released to play football again. The former midfielder of Manchester United is a free agent after the termination of his contract with Juventus.
Although he can play professional football again, the international midfielder of France is still without a club. The 31-year-old received clearance to play on 11 March, and with the window of the summer transfer that is quickly approaching, rumors raise where the World Cup winner is going.
When asked what the future had for the free agent, Deschamps issued a voice of confidence: “Of course we have a strong relationship after everything we have experienced together. He has the mental power to return to the highest level, but it is his career; it is up to him to decide.”
