
Fuming Arsenal star Gabriel Martinelli accused Brentford captain Christian Norgaard of an “annoying” mistake that his leg could have breaked.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta was also furious and claimed that Norgaard should have received a red card instead of a yellow for the first half of scissors from behind.
Winger Martinelli insisted: 'At the moment, if my foot was on the floor, he could break my leg.
“He said he didn't mean it. I believe him, but he could have breaked my leg. It was red for me. It was filthy.”
Arteta had the fourth official ripped while Martinelli lay on the floor.
The boss of Gunners said, “My response tells you everything.”
Brentford -Chef Thomas Frank did not agree and said, “It was strong yellow – but it was a yellow.”
Norgaard and Martinelli are supposed to shake hands during the break, but the Fallout continued after the game.
Ex-top ref Mark Halsey agreed with Arsenal and added: “A challenge that endangers the safety of a player with excessive force or brutality must be punished with a red card.
“This was a scissor racing from behind-that is serious false game.

“It could have led to a serious injury for Martinelli.”
The Gunners took the lead through the second half of Thomas Partey.
But they were linked when Brentford Striker Yoane Wissa addicted to his 15th Premier League strike of the season.
The draw leaves the Gunners ten points behind leaders Liverpool and gave arteta the title for the first time.
And the Arsenal boss admitted that the season of his team now depends on the quarterfinals of the Champions League, where the Gunners are on their way to Real Madrid on Wednesday to defend a 3-0 lead against their winnings on first legs.
