‘He is cooked’… Fans fear Leon Edwards is compromised after new photo suggests UFC London health issue

'Rocky' will again give the O2 -Arena in London this Saturday while he rebound from a tough night at the office.

The former UFC champion Welterweight is not a hunter who is used to losing, but on UFC 304 in July a frustrated Leon Edwards was defeated by Belal Muhammad.

Edwards now wants to remember the fans and the Welterweight Division that he is when he returns to the #5-ranged good weight candidate on 22 March.

Sean Brady has an enormous opportunity to lose back-to-back for Edwards and to guarantee the greatest victory of his career so far in enemy territory.

Although some have claimed that for various reasons the Brit did not look the last time, fans are now ensuring that the same may apply to this weekend.

Fans wonder if Leon Edwards Staph has after the recent photo

After his loss at UFC 304, Leon Edwards quoted various factors that he believes influenced his performance in Manchester.

'Rocky' said that despite some injuries and his struggle to adapt to fighting in the early hours of the morning because of the event that took place at our time, he was still confident.

Edwards has the opportunity to leave all this behind on March 22 by beating a top candidate in Sean Brady and bringing himself back to the title photo.

However, a post on X has expressed a potential concern about the former champion after a fan saw what a Staph infection could be in a recent image.

This has been a concern in many major fights and in most cases the athlete will choose to push through instead of retreating from the fight, unless it is a particularly bad thing.

Both the infection itself and the course of antibiotics can influence the performance of a hunter and although no athlete will ever be 100%, there is a lot on the line for Edwards this Saturday.

“He is cooked,” wrote a fan in response to the image. “He loses it. That is bad!”

While others referred to how Edwards could use this as an excuse if he loses on March 22, others stated how often this event happened in recent times.

“I can't have a good card without Staph, we know all of that”

What would a loss mean for Leon Edwards?

A loss in the main event of UFC London would make it the first time that Leon Edwards had suffered successive defeats in his career.

At the age of 33, 'Rocky' would still have time to turn that around and there are many top candidates in welterweight with which he still has to be confronted.

If Edwards loses, the crucial element can be what the implementation itself looks like because of what happened on UFC 304.

That version of the former champion did not look the same as the one we saw earlier, but to beat Sean Brady in the O2arena, he will have to recapture that form.
