Real Madrid is preparing for the start of the 2025-26 campaign, which will start for them against Osasuna in less than two weeks. Preparations are far from ideal because of their involvement with the Club World Cup, which has meant a short-sized pre-season schedule for Xabi Alonso's team.
The newest member of the team is Alvaro Carreras, who ended in the days after the World Cup of the Club from Real Madrid ended. He first trained this week with his new teammates and spoke with RMTV (via Diario AS), he gave his opinion about his new head coach, and also the preparations that are being made for the new season.

The arrival of Carreras means that Real Madrid now has three left backs in Alonso's team, with Ferland Mendy and Fran Garcia both still in the club. The idea, however, is that the first leaves, given that he is seen as third in the pecking order – even though he is the most experienced.
It is still to look at how Carreras can endure as a real Madrid player during his first season, but the hope is high. He is very able to solve the left-back problems of the club, which have been present for several years.
