Peter Schmeichel shared a touching moment live with his son Kasper after Tuesday night's Champions League action.
Kasper had kept a clean sheet for Celtic away at Dinamo Zagreb, taking the Scottish title winners a step closer to the knockout play-off round.
The 0-0 draw means Celtic have nine points after six games before clashing with BSC Young Boys and Aston Villa, giving them a good chance of advancing.
And after the match it was his father and Manchester United legend Peter who was called in to interview him for CBS Sports.
After discussing the evening, host Kate Scott invited the couple to hug.
“Kasper, I want you to know how much we love your father,” she began. “He's such an important part of the show. We have a lot of respect for him and he is just a great person.
“So, would you please give him a hug?”
The duo were happy to help and threw their arms around each other's necks as Scott, Thierry Henry, Jamie Carragher and Clint Dempsey clapped in the studio.
Micah Richards was notably missing from the coverage, away in Italy, and the Schmeichels used that as an opportunity to raise a point of contention.
“Where is Micah anyway?” Peter asked. 'We still have a bone to pick with Micah. Are we finally doing this? Where is he?'
Scott pressed Peter to reveal what their problem was, but the goalkeeping couple kept quiet about it, leaving a shroud of mystery over the situation.
Peter replied, “We have to wait. Make sure you keep going (pointing to Kasper) because we're going to do this again and Micah is going to be in the studio.”
Scott started chanting 'fight' and Carragher revealed he would 'love Kasper to win' if he were to get a fight with the former Manchester City star.
It's unclear what the problem with Richards is, but there was an awkward moment earlier this season when Carragher claimed he was responsible for being held back from City in favor of Joe Hart – although Peter didn't believe him.
The former Liverpool star had said: 'Peter, if you're going to be together, you need to know a little secret about what happened between Micah and your son at Manchester City's youth team.
'Kasper was a year above him [Richards] and there was some friction over who was the top dog and the main man.
'Micah kept him with him when he reached the first team.
'God rest his soul Sven Goran Eriksson asked him who he should choose as the first-team goalkeeper because he wasn't sure whether it should be Joe Hart or Kasper. He fell for Joe Hart because of the friction he had years before.”
It could be for this reason that the goalkeeping legend claimed there is a bone to pick with Richards.
Additionally, Kasper gave a few details about their childhood together at City in the latest episode of the show.
'Do you know how annoying Micah was at school? We studied together when we were at City, but thanks to Micah we didn't get anything done.
“I don't think anyone is surprised that Micah didn't pay attention in college.”
