It is fair to say that former UFC BMF champion, Jorge Masvidal, his aversion to UFC star, Justin Gaethje, retains.
Former UFC star, Jorge Masvidal, became the first hunter in the history of the promotion that the BMF title won when he completed Nate Diaz in 2019.
The title line was continued in 2023 after 'GameBred' left the promotion and two more legends of the sport, Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje fought for the empty title.
Poirier and Masvidal have long been teammates at the American top team and for the fight Masvidal made it clear that he wanted 'the diamond' to bring the title back to the gym.
Nevertheless, Gaethje Poirier explained in the middle of the Octagon after landing a vicious main kick and Masvidal was left to wrap the belt around 'the peak' after the fight.

Jorge Masvidal supports Ilia Topuria to place 'Justin Gaethje in a coma'
Since that moment, Masvidal has accepted some sort of hatred for Gaethje, even and claims that he would like to 'raise his face' in a potential UFC decay.
Nevertheless, since Masvidal's exit from the UFC, 'the highlight' has had career of the peak peaks and valleys, but he is now near the fight against Islam Makhachev for the lightweight title after beating Rafael Fiziev on UFC 313 earlier this month.
Another star who wants to fight in addition to the title against Islam Makhachev, however, is former Feeder Wain champion, Ilia Topuria.
After Topuria had left the featherweight title, it seemed inevitable that he would fight against Makhachev in his next fight, but signs indicate that he may have to accept a lightweight competition as Gaethje.
In an example of 'El Matador's' potential at 155LBS,' GameBred 'Masvidal stated that the Spaniard' Gaethje 'Gaethje would be' in 'a coma'.
“His strength, he gets harder than Islam, I tell you, he gets harder than almost every 55er because much of his genetic, but his technique is legitimate together with his genetics,” Masvidal began to explain to counter -frozen kings with Tristan Dlabik.

Can Justin Gaethje and Ilia Topuria then fight?
Although the lightweight title photo is currently relatively confusing, it is unlikely that there is no clear number one candidate for Makhachev, Topuria and Gaethje.
With both Charles Oliveira and Arman Tsarukyan who apparently miss the next title shot, it only really leaves Gaethje and Topuria and potential opponents for the Russian champion.
And although Makhachev and his team do not like to fight against 'El Matador' without taking a victory over a competition, all signs point out that it is the next title fight.
