Thomas Tuchel believes that Jordan Henderson “can be the glue that makes things special” after he has brought the midfielder back into the arrangement of England.
Henderson, who has not characterized the Three Lions since November 2023, was a surprise recording for Tuchel's first team since Gareth Southgate took over.
The 34-year-old has been out of the team in the last 16 months after leaving Liverpool for Saudi Pro League side Al-Eittifaq, before he came to Ajax in January 2024.
Henderson played 39 times this season in all matches for the Eredivisie -Outfit, 30 of which came from the beginning under Francesco Farioli.
He has registered six assists in those trips and has registered 81.59 steps per 90 and completed 72.09 per 90, which is in third place in the current team of Ajax.

But it is Henderson's experience that Tuchel will be looking to trust, with the former Liverpool captain plays 81 times for England, making 55 starts.

“He is the glue in every team in which he played, the glue that makes things special.
“I am convinced. If a teacher at a school is convinced about the quality of the class, the character of the class, it is better than the other way around.”
