Henry Cejudo films movie debut alongside Entourage star days out from UFC return

In anticipation of his long-awaited return to the Octagon, former UFC-double champion Henry Cejudo tries his hand on something new-professional acting.

MMA fans have seen various former UFC hunters coming and going from the silver screen; Although some are much more talented and more successful than others.

Quinton Jackson beat his role as Ba Baracus in 'The A-Team', Georges St-Pierre went to toe to toe with Captain America in 'The Winter Soldier', and Conor McGregor threw down the remake 'Road House'.

Now it's time for 'Triple C' to shine, revealing on his latest training camp Vlog that he wants to make his professional acting debut alongside Entourage's Vinny Chase, Aka Adrian Grenier.

Former UFC champion and actor Henry Cejudo Films debut role

Henry Cejudo is not only a former UFC -doubled champion, he is also not only an Olympic champion, or the 'King of Cringe' – he is now also a professional actor.

“I am on my way to Austin, Texas, I have a good buddy of mine who does Mike Tyson's biopic, he will have me in one of his films,” said Cejudo on episode four of everything or nothing.

“I will be one of the criminals, one of the homies in this film with Vinny Chase of Entourage … I am super happy, this will be my first film role and I am super enthusiastic. Entourage is one of my favorite shows, so it will be Be cool to hang out with them and eat them tonight. “

Cejudo plays a character called Manuel, with the storyline of the film around a man who loses the pin code to his Bitcoin wallet and has to fight to recover control of his stock.

Henry Cejudo's long-awaited return to UFC promotion set before February 22

More than a year since his last fight, Henry Cejudo is finally ready to return to action in the main event of UFC Fight Night: Seattle, which will take place in Washington on 22 February.

The former double champion is confronted with popular Chinese striking, song 'Kung Fu Kid' Yadong.

Cejudo currently retains the #7 place in the UFC Bantamweight ranking list, after he had dropped a unanimous decision to Dvalishvili in Merab Dvalishvili in his last fight on UFC 298.

In the meantime, Yadong is only one place under him at #8 and he suffers his own UD loss by Petr Yan on UFC 299 last March.

That main event is expected to be a razor-close affair and should be a fantastic end to what has already been formed into one of the better UFC Fight Night Cards of the Year.

Apart from Cejudo and Yadong, fans can look forward to people like Brendan Allen, Anthony Hernandez, Edson Barboza, Curtis Blaydes and Jean Silva.

UFC Fight Night: Cejudo vs Yadong goes live on Saturday 22 February.
