The flight weight champion has passed an early storm through teeth with knotted teeth before he came out.
In 2019 everything seemed to fall into place for the flight weight champion of the UFC, Henry Cejudo.
He started the year with a successful defense of his 125 pound title where Cejudo TJ Dillashaw stopped in just over 32 seconds to save the division.
He then focused his attention on the Bantamweight, which suddenly opened for him when Dillashaw was stripped of the title because of a positive drug test.
One last obstacle had to be cleaned up before Cejudo became a UFC doubled camp, but his dream to be 'Triple C' almost crumbled at UFC 238.

Henry Cejudo waged war with Marlon Moraes on UFC 238
On UFC 238, Henry Cejudo moved to the Bantamweight Division to challenge the empty title left by TJ Dillashaw.
From the flight weight champion, the Marlon Moraes of Brazil, who had just finished his last three opponents in the first round and had produced devastating knockouts about Aljamain Sterling, Jimmie Rivera and Raphael Assuncao.
It was clear that Moraes in the early stages of the fight would become incredibly dangerous, but if Cejudo could drag him into deep water and remove part of that explosiveness, that would be his best chance of participating in Conor McGregor, Daniel Cormier and Amanda Nunes by holding two UFC titles at the same time.

That is exactly how the fight played with the Brazilian who quickly came out of the blocks with sharp counters and powerful stairs, especially to the legs of his opponent.
If Moraes could keep this pace, he would continue to beat Cejudo, but the champion changed the story by force a dog fight.
The former Olympian consistently walked down his opponent, stacked the pressure on him and made a lot of use of the conflict to beat Moraes and wear him.
A combination of his all-power style and the pressure of Cejudo had his toll on the upper bantam weight candidate who was smashed at the end of the third round by soil and pound on the bottom before Marc Goddard entered the fight.
Cejudo may have a gold medal in the wrestling and he had already proven that he can fight incredibly tactically, but this victory showed his championship, heart and determination as he gradually turned the tide through overwhelming Moraes and chip him away from minute to minute.
Henry Cejudo now seems to turn his Bantamweight Fortuinen around
After his epic encounter with Marlon Moraes, Henry Cejudo defended the 135 pound title against Dominick Cruz before announcing his early retirement.
'Triple C' then returned three years later, where he could not reclaim the Bantamweight title in a split loss of decision for Aljamain Sterling on UFC 288.
A further setback against the current champion, Merab Dvalishvili, has left Cejudo in a difficult position as former champion who fell into the pecking order.
He is now looking at his first victory in the Octagon since 2020 When he returns to UFC Seattle on 22 February, where Cejudo is confronted with the #8-ranged song Yadong in the main event.
