Jones used every excuse in the book to avoid Aspinall before 195,000 fans signed a petition in which he was called to be stripped of his UFC heavyweight title.
The UFC Hall of Famer repeatedly suggested that Aspinall is not a big star to fight against him.
Instead, Jones wanted to fight Francis Ngannou or Alex Pereira, but the UFC was on the Englishman.
Joe Rogan thinks that Jones seriously underestimated the star force of Aspinall before withdrew from MMA.
“They are also cash fights,” he said during a discussion about Jones with Cory Sandhagen on his podcast.
“I think he is wrong because I think Aspinall is a star. I really do it.
