Hojlund to discuss contract terms with Napoli today as he prepares to leave Man Utd

United spends £ 74 million to sign Sesko from RB Leipzig, has brought the role of Hojlund under manager Ruben Amorim to an end this summer. The Denmark International has fallen the pecking order in Old Trafford and it is no secret that Amorim wants him from the team from the team in just over a week before the end of the transfer window.

Napoli has returned to the transfer market in an attempt to find a replacement for Romelu Lukaku, who is expected to miss a few months of the 2025-26 campaign after picking up an injury during the previous season. Now, according to Fabrizio Romano, it seems that the Serie A Giants Hojlund strives to land as contract discussions.

“Napoli will send the contract proposal to Rasmus Højlund while discussions with Manchester United will continue.

“Decision to Højlund with contract conditions that will be discussed from today, because various clubs are interested in him.”

Hojlund is part of a group of United -outcasts in the so -called “Bomb Squad” which also includes Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia. If the Danish star makes the switch to Italy, there is a conviction that each loan would include an obligation for the transfer to become permanent next summer.

Chelsea had the same clause in the loan agreement for Jadon Sancho 12 months ago, but instead chose to pay a fine where the striker returned to Old Trafford, which could be the same thing for Hojlund if he was left behind.
