Hotspur set minimum asking price for defender – MU move expected

Tottenham Hotspur right-back Pedro Porro has made no secret of his desire to join Real Madrid in recent months. He confirmed publicly and on several occasions how exciting it would be to play for Los Blancos. However, Real Madrid believe the deal is impossible.

Porro is seen as the best alternative to Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is out of contract next summer, and the Spanish right-back has been tracked by Real Madrid for some time. Despite the wishes of Real Madrid and Porro, Diario AS say the former believe a deal is impossible due to the cost of any deal.

Spurs will demand at least €70 million for Porro, which is out of Real Madrid's reach. Moreover, expect Los Blancos with the arrival of Ruben Amorim at Manchester United, the Red Devils will make a move to Porro next summer, partly because of their Sporting CP connection. With Sporting's transfer man at Manchester City and Kyle Walker possibly leaving next summer, they are also not ruling out a move for Pep Guardiola.

It looks like Los Blancos will put all their eggs in Alexander-Arnold's basket. The England international is not only the cheapest option to compete with Dani Carvajal, but has also been on their radar for some time. While Real Madrid are hoping to sign more Spanish players, Porro is looking a bit complicated.
