Arsenal had a number of promising players on loan during the 2024/25 season and with all who were set to return to North Londs next season, hope they have done enough to attract Mikel Arteta's attention
Mikel Arteta is planning a huge transformation of his team prior to the following season. The Arsenal boss has a new midfielder and a striker on his shopping list for the summer transfer window.
And if he gets it, he hopes to cut the gap to Liverpool at the top of the table. Although some new faces are on their way to the Emirates in the near future, some well -known stars will return in the coming months.
Arsenal sent a collection of ten players on loan last season, with some better fortune than others. Some first team stars were broadcast for football in the first team, while some young people also had the opportunity to earn opportunities with their adopted clubs.
But how are they all together? Mirror Football takes a look and gives an opinion about whether one of Arsenal's loan contingent could play a role in the first team next season:
The 37 times Estonia International has been to Arsenal since 2018 and spent last season in La Liga with Real Valladolid. In total, the 23-year-old 32 performances made in all competitions, with five clean sheets held and admitting 70 goals.
And although Hein seemed to have a positive experience from a personal point of view, it was something of a disaster for his loan side. Valladolid was relegated from the Spanish top flight with only 16 points and four wins to their name throughout the season.
There is a vacancy as a deputy of David Raya, but Arsenal looks at the market to fill that, possibly set up with Hein for a permanent exit.
After a pretty miserable debut season as an Arsenal player, the Portuguese defender Nuno Tavares has been on loan since 2022. He regards Marseille and Nottingham Forest as his previous employers, while spending with Lazio last season.
The 25-year-old performed relatively well with the Serie A-side and made 30 performances in all competitions, while giving nine assists. Lazio has an option to make the move permanent and that very probably seems to be activated soon.
Signed from Porto in the summer of 2022, the midfielder returned 12 months ago to the Portuguese giants on a season loan. And it was a relatively productive season that scored five goals and offered so many assists in all competitions.
Although his loan movement ends at the end of the season, it has been suggested that it could possibly be stuck for this summer's club World Cup.

A product from the Arsenal Youth Academy, Nelson moved through London to become a member of Premier League rivals Fulham last summer. But his chances were very limited to say the least.

After making only six performances for Arsenal during his first season, Brazilian winger Marquinhos was sent to Norwich and Nantes on loans. Then he came to Fluminense last year and stayed at the side until January 2025. At that time he only scored twice.

The brother of colleague -Academy -graduated Arthur Okonkwo, the young person joined Hitchen Town at the end of the January transfer window. He enjoyed a smart start of life with the side, but returned to Arsenal after only four performances.
