The position of Bruno Fernandes against an exhausted midfield of Tottenham is the key to Manchester United that wins the Europa League of Europe.
It is a completely English final in Bilbao on Wednesday, because both parties try to save themselves from the consequences of a disastrous season.
The enchantment of Ruben Amorim at United has been incredibly bad and his side is regulated of his 3-4-3 system.
But if the Red Devils get tactically good, they can cut a Spurs team apart without injured Trio James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski and Lucas Bergvall in midfield.
Where should Bruno Fernandes play?
Amorim has a mystery – whether he should play his skipper in one of the NO10 positions or deeper in his midfield two.
United must trust Casemiro and Manuel Ugarte in the final, so that Fernandes can be used in a free role further on the field.
When he has played as one of the NO10s, he is expected to run in-Behind and Stretch defenses.
But this does not fit with his game and against Micky van de Ven, a waste of time.
Amorim has to throw it away and let his most complete player have freedom, which eliminates the structure to give spurs headaches.
Ange Postecoglou wants his team to press aggressively and gets high on United if they have a deep possession.
But having Fernandes floating in a “normal” central NO10 position will force traces to withdraw one of their midfielders to handle him or they have a 3 US 2.

Should Amad Wing-back play?
Amad Diallo can be Amorim's Wing-back in the long term, but not on Wednesday evening.
