Will Tyson Save Boxing?

By Yannis Mihanos: In recent years, boxing has lost its identity. New advisors, channels and investors have entered the sport.

Tonight is a special night and we will witness an event that should never have happened.

Many rushed to describe the fight as a circus fight when it was announced.

Jake Paul, a celebrity who turned into a fighter with a less than glamorous boxing history, and Mike Tyson, 58, a veteran who was well past his prime.

It sounds outrageous for a 58-year-old man to hit a man in the prime of his youth, but we're talking about Mike Tyson.

Mike Tyson is a man who has redeemed himself and rediscovered his passion and thirst for life.

When it comes to boxing, he returned to boxing four years ago in an exhibition fight against Roy Jones.

After that he kept his interest in more boxing warm until this offer came.

Not many people get a second chance at life, but I think God made an exception for Tyson.

He granted him one last attempt at glory.

Although there is no heavyweight title at stake, it is an official fight and will be included in his boxing record as such.

Mike's greatest asset has always been his ferocious hitting power.

Punching power is the one thing that leaves the fighter last, and that's a fact.

“Kick this rude boy in the back”

Many people guarantee that Mike will get the win with a huge knockout.

And there's a reason for that. Paul is an improved boxer, but he doesn't have the defensive moves of someone like Mayweather, so he can't avoid getting hit. If you get hit by Mike Tyson, this is a problem.

For the first time in his career, Jake Paul may discover the humbling truth that you shouldn't underestimate a boxing legend. Despite his age, Mike Tyson can still do damage.

This article may be biased. Maybe I'm too excited to see Mike back in the ring, but a solid performance will inspire many others to return to their passion, and boxing can recalibrate his identity.

Will Tyson win?

Only God knows if this is the right time for him. Maybe the script says he will lose gracefully, or it will be a draw or, as most of us hope, a major victory for Mike.

No one knows what the outcome will be except God.

He's 58. And then?

Okay, he's 58. What then? Father time can be intimidating for anyone. Add to that what society tells you, and you have the result that many retire prematurely.

They give up their dreams and passion and live a mediocre life.

I'm 52 and have a lot to give and a lot of dreams to achieve, so I'm going to keep going.

No one expected to see Mike Tyson in the ring again since he retired 20 years ago.

At that moment he was in his worst state physically and mentally, and Father Time had easily defeated him.

But not now. Now he can fight with more heart, a better mind and a reformed character.

Will this be enough to beat the much younger Paul?

Honestly, I hope Mike finishes him, but even if he doesn't, I'll still be happy about him. To get this far is a huge achievement. He is a great inspiration to all of us.

Many hate Tyson's audacity to challenge a young stallion at this age and hope he will be humiliated, discouraging anyone who dreams of doing similar things.

Mind over matter

The spiritual element can make a difference in this battle. There is an internal force that he can channel, and it can turn the outcome in his favor.

Faith strengthens body and mind.

Tyson has a different look now. He has evolved. He has opened himself up to the infinite power of our creator, and this is something that cannot be invented because it is internal.

We've seen that happen a lot with the other Tyson. Tyson Fury became a different man and defeated Wilder three times. The first time, officially a draw, was the biggest. Wilder's killing blow knocked him to the ground in the twelfth round, but he somehow found the strength to get up and finish the fight.

He has suffered more knockdowns since then, but he has always found a way to get up and continue in all his fights.

Time stops where faith begins

Time stops where faith begins. Those with faith have all the youth they need to accomplish the most impossible tasks.

Those who don't often feel old and weak.

I conclude this article by thanking God for this fight.

Everyone needs to tune in, the haters and the fans, and hopefully at the end of this fight they will all become one.
