‘I almost feel bad’… UFC veteran brutally blames Julianna Pena for his dislike of women’s MMA

UFC 316 Headliner Julianna Pena certainly has her quite part of Haters.

Saturday's pay-per-view event will return a polarizing UFC champion to action, while Pena defends her title against Kayla Harrison.

The collision of the couple comes seven months after their respective victories at UFC 307 in Salt Lake City, where Harrison Ketlen Vieira defeated to stay unbeaten in the Octagon and Pena came close to Raquel Pennington to start her second rule.

In the run -up to the UFC 316, the champion has been her usual troubling self -tracing self. But when it comes to the self -assured words and attitude of Pena, a retired hunter does not think she supports it in the cage.

Matt Brown is not a fan of UFC 316 champion Julianna Pena

Former UFC -Welterweight Matt Brown recently looked ahead to Saturday's numbered card during MMA Fighting's The Fighter vs. The Writer.

'The Immortal' did not stop himself in his assessment of Pena, so far that he would point to the Bantamweight queen as one of the reasons why he does not enjoy the MMA of women.

That is far removed from how he views Pena's challenger at UFC 316.

“I feel almost bad that Julianna is going this fight,” said Brown. “I don't know how she got that far.

“I don't like a trash over fighters, I don't want to put her down – hopefully she just doesn't hear this – but she is exactly one of the reasons why I don't enjoy the MMA of most women. Kayla is exactly one of the reasons why I enjoy the MMA of some women.

“Kayla is a legitimate legitimate savage fighter and she is good and it is (pleasant) to look at. Julianna, just honest, I don't know how she is in the position she is in,” Brown added. “She doesn't really do much good.

“All respect, I don't try to take a lot of hate or something, but it's just what it is. I just don't see how you can fight so badly and be in the top organization in the world.”

Julianna Pena has proven her opponents in the past

When it comes to the evidence of haters, Fight Night come, not much have done just like Pena.

'The Venezolan Vixen' had her chances of winning the Bantamweight title, laughed a lot by fans, hunters and analysts.

But at UFC 269, Pena submitted the big Amanda nunes and shocked the world in the T-Mobile Arena of Las Vegas.

Although she could not repeat the performance in their rematch, Pena's title CroWning will be etched forever in history as one of the greatest disturbances of all time.

Pena will now have her sights on another big upset at UFC 316.

Despite entering the game with the title, the champion is tipped on a large scale to drop it again in her first defense, this time to a former teammate of Nunes in Harrison.
