Charles Oliveira knows what went wrong against Ilia Topuria earlier this summer.
Topuria and Oliveira headed this year's international Vechtweek when they collided in the main event of UFC 317 in June for the empty lightweight title in the main event of UFC 317.
The former featherweight champion Ilia Topuria predicted a first round knockout from Oliveira, and that is exactly what happened on Fight Night when Topuria asked the Kin van de Brazilian asked to win a second world title.
After the fight, Oliveira said he never got harder in his career.
For more than a month away from the result, Oliveira has been booked to return to the UFC Rio headliner against top 10 candidate Rafael Fiziev.
Prior to his next fight, Oliveira has thought about his Ko loss against Topuria.

Charles Oliveira wanted to show his power against Ilia Topuria
Prior to UFC 317, Oliveira had claimed that he had more power than the harsh Topuria.
Oliveira soon discovered that it was not the case when standing and acting with 'El Matador', which eventually hit him.
“My reflection is simple: sometimes we try to prove something that we don't have to prove,” Oliveira told Thunderpick.
“I had trained a lot of movement, calf kicks, one-twos, Takedown entries, comboes that lead to high stairs-that everything.
“But when the fight started, I just wanted to show off,” Oliveira revealed.
“I believed too much in my hands, in my knock -out strength. I kept waiting for the perfect moment to land, but he was much faster than me because I was waiting for one shot there. He was much faster …
“His game plan worked better than mine. It was his night. His timing was better. His punch landed for mine. He earns all the respect in the world – it was his moment.
“In the meantime I was waiting for something I shouldn't have waited for,” said Oliveira.
The former champion continued.
“What should I have done? Moved. But I didn't.
“I have been in the UFC for 15 years. I had never been eliminated before – this was the first time. But I didn't need anyone to pick me up. It's up to me. So I have got up again and I am getting ahead. As I said, that night is over. Now it is about the next one.”
Charles Oliveira's rapid change at UFC Rio leaves room for concern
Oliveira was left unconscious in the UFC 317 main event on 28 June.
'Do Bronxs' gets a fairly fast reversal against Rafael Fiziev on October 11, which is 105 days since the KO loss against Topuria.
We have seen other UFC stars try to bounce back from knockouts, but it is not always well approved.
For example, UFC champion Vederweight Alexander Volkanovski returned four months after he was lost to Islam Makhachev via main kick against Ilia Topuria and was eliminated by Topuria in the second round.
