Some fans had the feeling that the UFC commentators did not earn half of the main event the props he earned.
At UFC 314 in Miami the night ended with Alexander Volkanovski who defeated Diego Lopes to recover the featherweight title.
Volkanovski made a number of major changes before 12 April with many who wondered if he could still compete against the best hunters in the world losing back-to-back knockout.
'The Great' answered those claims and they some by rolling back the years before he quickly focused his attention on his next challenge with Volkanovski in the hope of becoming an active champion again.
Although the double champion earned incredibly praise, his opponent also showed a few new sides to his play, even if it did not lead to leaving the Kaseya center with the gold of 145 pounds.

Daniel Cormier says that the UFC 314 main event was easy to score in response to bias claims
Diego Lopes was beaten in a reasonably convincing way at UFC 314, but the fan's favorite was able to answer a few questions after he had gone five rounds in the Octagon for the first time.
For better or worse, the Brazilian was more reserved than in the past and even after he had dropped his opponent in the second round, the dangerous striker did not lose his calmness.
Lopes started to let it all go in the last minutes of the fight, but at that moment many felt like Alexander Volkanovski had already won the victory if he could see the last round.
This opinion was held by UFC commentator Daniel Cormier, who was full of praise for 'The Great' after he took the statistics against him.
A fan on social media tagged Cormier in a message when the map came to an end and criticized the former two-weight UFC champion because he did not give Lopes the props he earned on comment.
'DC' responded by refilling every claim that he was biased towards Volkanovski and stated that he was not influenced by any form of visual.
“It was 4-1 brother, regardless of how much you like your husband and it was called that way. I know how to judge fights, so I don't know how to look and be impressed by large movements.”

Cormier tackled this again in his immediate response to the fighting on his YouTube channel, where he again claimed that he was not biased for one hunter above the other, he simply felt that the result was clear before the score cards were officially made.
“I thought he fought a vintage fight and there was something,” oh you are a favoritism for people. I thought it was a fairly simple fight to score. I thought it was four for one Volkanovski. I thought Lopez won in that fight round four, outside that I thought Alexander Volkanovski was pretty dominant in the fight. “
Two jury members had different score cards for Daniel Cormier in the main event of UFC 314
While Daniel Cormier stated that in his opinion Diego Lopes only won the fourth round, two of the judges did not agree with him.
Alexander Volkanovski still won the fight through a unanimous decision, but all three cards were different with Chris Lee who had the same image as Cormier.
Sal d'Amato, on the other hand, had Lopes only winning the second round, while Derek Cleary had the fight much poet with the Brazilian who won both the second and the fourth for a score of 48-47 in favor of Volkanovski.
Regardless of the score cards, which were a conversation point all night, the right man got his hand lifted and Lopes gave a good report of himself in the defeat.
