Arne Slot felt that his emotions got better after he got a red card in the aftermath of their 2-2 draw with Everton.
Slot was sent in Goodison Park on Wednesday after full -time, after confronting referee Michael Oliver.
The officer had sent Liverpool's Curtis Jones and Everton's Abdoulaye Doucoure for a Fracas at the end of the game.
Speaking in the press conference prior to their home game against Wolves, Slot suggested that he regretted his behavior.
“What happened was that a lot happened during the stopping time and the emotions got better,” he said.
“I would like to have done it differently if I could go back. I hope to do it differently next time. But on what happened and what was said, I told you it was a continuous process and I don't want to be to to disrupt that. “
Despite the Premier League that initially suggests that he would serve a touchline ban of two games, his sentence was not confirmed and could be in the Dugout in Anfield on Sunday.
“That is a continuous process now and we have to respect that. So I can't go into the details,” he said.
Slot also recognized the contribution of Matheus Cunha for wolves, where the striker has scored 11 competition goals.
“If you go to the Dutch competition and look at the team in 17th place, there is no player who could play for Ajax, PSV or Feyenoord. But Matheus Cunha is a quality player and he has the quality to play for one of The top five teams in England, “said Slot.
“That is why it is so much harder to win a match against the 17th team in England compared to that in the Netherlands. So it will also be a tough game on Sunday.”
Wolves head coach Vorror Pereira now thinks that the team is improving under his guidance and has praised to send Goncalo Guedes, who has two goals and four assists in the competition this season.
“Guedes, he has skills to decide a game in a second. In a few seconds he can decide a game because he is a scorer. The finish is very good, he has the power to run with the ball and dribble And to accelerate the game at the moment.
“He knows the spaces he must be to receive the ball. He knows how to find these spaces. But now I can talk about the moment and he is an important player for us.”
When asked if Guedes was happy in the club, Pereira said: “Very happy. He laughs every time.
“I think it is the energy. The energy in the air, it is not love in the air, but it is the energy in the air.”
