‘I rejected big-money Liverpool transfer – now I could replace Son at Tottenham’

With the news that son Heung-Min is to leave Tottenham Hotspur, Thomas Frank reportedly identified a player who almost came to Liverpool and Manchester United as a replacement for the South Korea

Tottenham Hotspur looks at a player who has almost moved to Liverpool, because they are now looking to replace son Heung-Min. The legendary Spurs Forward dropped the Bombshell announcement on Saturday that he had made the decision to leave North Londs.

The South Korean attacker passed his intentions on the tour of Spurs through his home country and he will leave a huge gap in Spurs boss Thomas Frank's last third part. The Danish boss, although disappointed about the Annoucement, will now quickly have to focus his attention on strengthening his front line, with Randal Kolo Muani of Paris Saint-Germain reportedly at the top of his list.

The French International was interesting for Spurs in January, but spent the second half of last season on loan in Juventus, where he scored 10 goals in 22 performances. In the past he has also tried a lot of frees, famous Liverpool and Manchester United, while Cheslea is also linked to the star.

In January 2023, Sky Germany claimed that Kolo Muani decided to join Jurgen Klopp at Anfield in what a rumor deal of £ 88 million would have been. The striker refused the Reds for the stay in Eintracht Frankfurt.

Kolo Muani claimed that he felt at ease on the Bundesliga side. After scoring 26 goals in just 50 games for Frankfurt, Muani was broken up by PSG for PSG for £ 76.2 million in September of that year.

The 26-year-old could also have went to the Premier League via Old Trafford. A report from the athletics stated that Kolo Muani and Rasmus Hojlund in 2023 were the two best goals of United, but the age, the profile and the slightly cheaper price of the latter gave him the lead.

After they had left both Premier League giants red, Kolo Muani had started a solid debut season for PSG, 40 times and scored nine goals. Nevertheless, he struggled on PSG last season and scored twice in 10 Ligue performances, and so a loan to Juve followed.

He flourished in the Serie A, scored eight times in 16 games and registered one assist. His shape was so impressive that Juventus is in front of him again, but is confronted with stiff competition from Spurs.

No offers have been submitted yet, but both teams want to get a deal across the line. When traces are the team to finally take him to the Premier League, the Frenchman will have big shoes to fill in the replacement son.

The iconic South Korean was signed on the German side Bayer Leverkusen in 2015 and scored 173 goals in more than 450 performances for Spurs, which meant that they eventually won the Europa League last season.

Speaking of his decision, Son said, “Before we start, I just want to share the information I decided to leave this club this summer,” Son said. “Respectful, this club helps me to make my decision. I just want to share this before we start.

“It was the most difficult decision I made in my career. I spent 10 years at Tottenham. The main reason is that I have achieved everything I can do at Tottenham. I need a new environment for a new challenge. I am grateful that the club has respected my decision and wishes well for the next season the following season.”

Son refused to comment on his next destination. MLS Side Lafc seems to lead the race for his signature, while there is also interest in the player from Saudi Arabia.
