In June the former hunter was placed in a coma when he fought against a life -threatening cause of pneumonia.

Ben Askren was recently admitted to the hospital when doctors saw an infection during his first check, but earlier this week the 41-year-old announced that he was 'escaped' on social media again.

Ben Askren discovers that he missed the UFC debut of Patchy Mix
Ben Askren is now at home and shares his thoughts about the last ins and outs of MMA.
The former world champion with two promotion responded quickly that a fragmentary mix was booked to face the title holder Jakub Wiklasz of KSW, who will make his debut on October 4 on 4 October in the large competitions on UFC 320.
“Patchy is really good! Wouldn't surprise him to see a title Run in the 1st year,” Askren wrote in response to a report on Mix vs. Wiklasz.
However, he soon realized that fighting for the title in 2025 was unlikely after his disastrous UFC debut.
Askren was in a coma when Mario Bautista easily spoke to him in three rounds at UFC 316 in June.
“LOL S -I was unconscious on June 7 and did not know that hunters happened,” tweeted after he learned that Mix lost his first UFC fight.
He added: “That's not a joke, it's real life. I don't remember anything from May 28.”
