UFC Welterweight Competent Ian Machado Garry did not disappoint in his long -awaited promotion debut.
Ian Machado Garry returns on Saturday in UFC Kansas City against the always-ingo Carlos Prates. The two welterweight Sluggers could possibly earn a title shot with a victory, which contributes to the high bet in the upcoming headliner.
Before Garry signed at the UFC in 2021, he was considered one of the most popular prospects in Welterweight in the world and made comparisons with Conor McGregor. A title profit from Cage Warriors led the UFC matchmakers to act quickly to get the talented hunter in his selection.
When they did, Garry did not let them down.

Ian Machado Garry's UFC debut stable the show on UFC 268
Garry faced Jordan Williams in his long -awaited UFC debut on UFC 268, a card with a head through the Rematch between Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington. Alex Pereira also made his UFC debut on the map and earned a vicious knockout.
Garry and Williams wasted no time to get in the Octagon in their undercard collision. Both hunters landed heavy shots, with Williams at one point stunning garry with an upper hand on the right.
But Garry was able to resist Williams's early barrage and probably UFC debutjitters to find some momentum in the last minute of the first round. While he placed his foot on the accelerator pedal in the final pedal, Garry landed a right hand on the counter that put Williams cold with a second left in the round.
It was a sensational UFC start for Garry, which inexplicably did not receive a post-fighting performance bonus at UFC 268. He did not earn his first UFC bonus until he switched Daniel Rodriguez off with a main kick at UFC Charlotte in May 2023.

Ian Machado Garry warned the upcoming opponent to UFC Kansas City
Garry is being taken against Prates for his short-notice gamble. In a recent pre-fighting message to Prates, Garry promised a brutal interruption when he labeled prates a 'quitter'.
Prates did not friendly took Garry's comments and added fuel to the fire of their upcoming collision. Prates was supposed to return to the Octagon on UFC 314 last weekend before his originally planned opponent, Geoff Neal, withdrew because of injury.
Garry vs. Prates promises to be a firefight in UFC Kansas City as long as it takes. After having had his first professional defeat, Garry has a big chip on his shoulder.
