Ian Machado Garry reveals two welterweights he’s officially said ‘Yes’ to as he inches closer to UFC title shot

UFC Welterweight Competier Ian Machado Garry says he has accepted two fights with large cache in the division.

Ian Machado Garry is knocking on the door of a potentially welterweight title shot. According to Garry, he offered two separate opponents for his return who will probably protect him from that opportunity.

Garry has not fought anymore since the beating of Carlos Prates earlier this year due to a unanimous decision at UFC Kansas City. He weighed last month as a backup of UFC 315, when Jack della Maddalena Belal defeated Muhammad to conquer the throne of Welterweight.

While Islam Makhachev is preparing for the likely subsequent goodweight title shot against Maddalena, Garry and several other top candidates in the wings are waiting for a chance to get the belt. Garry is in Las Vegas for UFC 317 Fight Week this week and is preparing to chat with the matchmakers to secure a date and opponent for his comeback to the Octagon.
