Ian Machado Garry made the opportunity to board the rising Carlos Prates in the short term at a main event place.
After continuing his extremely impressive run in the UFC, Carlos Prates was linked to veteran Geoff Neal on UFC 314, but unfortunately Neal then withdrew from the competition.
It seemed as if 'the nightmare' would have to wait a while until it was planned again, because there are not many UFC welter weights that put their name in the hat to fight him.
Nevertheless, Ian Machado Garry took the opportunity to hire him when he was offered the fight as the most important event for the upcoming UFC Kansas City card of the promotion.

Machado Garry sends Prates a scary warning for the fight
'The Future' felt it was difficult to miss the title shot of Welterweight after he found that Shavkat Rakhmonov had withdrawn from his planned fight against champion, Belal Muhammad, even though he had been lost to Rakhmonov on UFC 310.
Nevertheless, he will now take on the Brazilian fighting nerd in what is undoubtedly an eliminator fight, which may put him back into battle.
And with that the Irish Prates sent a scary warning for their fight, after he claimed earlier this week that Prates is not a 'real hunter'.
“I will go outside to Carlos Prates on 26 April and prove that there are levels,” said Machado Garry in an interview with Sky Sports.
“Nobody comes, nobody who expect what I'm going to do. I absolutely go to him and surpass him. There will be nothing that he can do (to stop).
“I am going to put this guy asleep, I leave him unconscious, and then I will go and I will fight for the belt, that's my plan,” he continued.
Carlos Prates wants to keep fighting against Nerd's incredible streak
'The Nightmare', however, is one of the different extremely impressive fighting nerds, who is currently conquering the UFC Stormender, and he has built up a large fan base in a short time.
The 31-year-old not only has an incredibly exciting fighting style, but he also has an eccentric personality and admits that he smokes at least 10 cigarettes a day.
Despite his smoking habits, Prates is unbeaten in his four previous UFC steps with his teammates, Caio Borralho, Jean Silva and Mauricio Ruffy also unbeaten in premier promotion.
With a victory over 'The Future', Prates will undoubtedly be followed quickly until a title shot of 170 pounds.
