Ian Machado Garry slated by top welterweight contender for ‘crying like a baby’

'The Future' has become a division since he made his debut in the UFC in 2021 before he went on a win with seven fights.

Ian Machado Garry pronounced his frustrations after he was not eligible for the Welterweight title fight that will take place at UFC 315 next month.

The Irishman knows for sure how to let people talk and he did it again prior to his return to Kansas City this Saturday after Machado Garry made a number of daring comments about his opponent, Carlos Prates.

He believes that his defeat against Shavkat Rakhmonov should have placed him in the mix in the short term, even if he gets rid of a loss, while Prates believes that Machado Garry in the Octagon should be more impressive to earn these opportunities.

Not everyone shares the opinion of the 27-year-old whose shares apparently climb in defeat after he lost his undefeated record on UFC 310 last December.

Sean Brady Scheldt Ian Machado Garry about Welterweight Title Photo Recent Comments

With Shavkat Rakhmonov not able to make the turning around to compete next month on UFC 315, it was Jack della Maddalena who received the call to see Belal Muhammad in the first title defense of the Welterweight champion.

Ian Machado Garry has remained clear that the UFC should have called him in this case after he had arrived on the wrong side of a narrow fight with Rakhmonov who strengthened his status as the best competition.

One of the names in the mix on 170 pounds is Sean Brady who recently dominated former champion Leon Edwards and has submitted to make his way in the title photo.

Brady has a completely different picture of the recent comments from Machado Garry about what he believes he earns before and after this weekend.

The Irishman has stated that his first UFC title should come after he has derailed the hype train of Prates and although this matchup certainly has large implications, it seems to be no guaranteed title -eliminator at this stage.

Brady posted a message on his Instagram story where he heavily criticized Machado Garry because he was entitled and claimed to be something he is not.

“The biggest claim to fame is losing a decision to Shavkat that cries like a baby, he has not received a title shot of a loss and now claims that he gets the title” If he has been defeated, it makes it logical. 0 top 5 victories calls himself an elite striker for the best life against MVP. “

Sean Brady goes out on Ian Garry 😳

“The biggest claim on fame is losing a decision to cry Shavkat like a baby, he did not get a title shot of a loss,

And now claims that he will get the title shot “if” he beats #13, it makes sense. “

Ian Machado Garry doubles his comments with Montreal plans

In an interview with Full Send MMA prior to Fight Night, Ian Machado Garry doubled his comments about where he is in the pecking order of Welterweight.

He spoke to Joaquin Buckley and Sean Brady's will, but pushed them aside and stated that he is now more relevant in terms of what people want to see and want to talk about.

Machado Garry also claimed that his flight to Montreal has already been booked, so that he can see the next Welterweight title fight up close after his collision with Carlos Prates.

“Joaquin Buckley hardly speaks f— English, Sean Brady looks like he is from Lord of the Rings. So nobody gives off – about these guys … Saturday night Carlos Prates will be handed over and I go directly to Montreal because that belt is inevitably wrapped for my distance.”

Rest assured, if Garry secures the victory on April 26, he will certainly have something to say on the microphone in the immediate aftermath.
