Ian Machado Garry says that not -franked Mauricio Ruffy is the best fighting nerd, Carlos Prates 'worst of the four'
The spotlights share his teammates, Borralho, Silva and Ruffy with Prates, almost all ranked in the top-15 over four different weight divisions with Ruffy the only exception to this writing.
Machado Garry, the most strendest MMA team in the world, ranks the four hunters about what they bring to the Octagon.
“I just think they are all great,” Machado Garry told Shakiel Mahjouri of CBS Sports.
“I think Prates is the worst of the four.
“I think Ruffy is the best,” Machado Garry called the not undressed fighting nerd.
Mauricio Ruffy is 3-0 in the UFC Lightweight Division, who earns Conor McGregor comparisons in his debut and completes his last opponent King Green with a rotating kick for one of the biggest knockouts of all time at UFC 313.
“I think the way Ruffy Moves moves is phenomenal,” said Machado Garry.
“The current and the movement, it's just beautiful to look …”
Ian Machado Garry praises Caio Borralho and Jean Silva
The second best fighting nerd in the eyes of the Irishman? The #6 ranking order middleweight competition Caio Borralho.
17-1 as a professional, Borralhos runs on a 16-field profit racing and the momentum of an almost finish of former title-finaler Jared Cannonier in his first main event last year.
“You look at someone like Caio who is just talent everywhere,” said Machado Garry.
“He can hit you on your feet. He can hit you on the floor. He has phenomenal Jiu-Jitsu. He is an absolute fridge from a man.”
The third place for Machado Garry must be Jean 'Lord' Silva, the polarizing competition person who is barking his way to the top of the Vederweight Division by stitching Bryce Mitchell on UFC 314 earlier this month.
“Silva is a dog. Like, literally a dog,” the UFC headliner continued.
“I know he barked last week, but that man just knows how to fight.
“I like to look at their boys,” Machado Garry said about the fighting Nerds team captain by head coach Pablo Sucupira.
“I think they have a big energy in the octagon. I think they have great confidence, and you see that. I think that matters …”
Ian Machado Garry will see what the Fighting Nerds is all about when he takes on the dangerous Carlos Prates this weekend in the UFC Kansas City main event.
