France confirmed on their official social media channels that Ibrahima Konaté (25) was replaced during the break and replaced by Dayot Upamecano, because the Liverpool Center-back had sustained a potential injury during the first half in Les Bleus Nations League match against Croatia.
In addition to the potential injury, the former RB Leipzig defender had a first half to forget while he had trouble destroying the threat of Croatia. Konaté was the fault for a handball because a fine was awarded against France.
