‘I’d dive through a brick wall for him’–Postecoglou’s speech moves fans to tears

Tottenham -fans were left in tears after hearing Ange Postecoglou's “hosting” Europa League rally from Europa League.

The Noord-Londoners booked their place in this month's final with 2-0 win on Thursday evening to seal a 5-1 total victory over Bodo/Glimt in their semi-final draw.

And oppressed Postecoglou gave his troops a speech for the centuries to hype them for their full-English final against Manchester United.

The Aussie – who returned to a reporter with a comparison with United after the game – said: “I said before what you have experienced as a group, players and staff this year.

“Let me tell you, I've been to this game for a long time and I've experienced it all.

“But I am so proud of how you all held together.

“Not once I felt that people don't believe or have lost what we have here.

“It was just excellent. People will never realize what it has taken for you to be in this position.

“And there you deserve all the honor for that, it's incredible what you have done.”

He added: “Now we have a little less than two weeks to prepare. Every day is important.

“Every day, every training session and every game we have between now and then it is about to get ready for that big game.

“But you can change things. You have seen what you did. Four hundred supporters here today, they will never forget it, and there are thousands at home.

“You can make it something very special. This is the group of players who are going to do it.

“Focus on that now, but you earn all the credit.”

The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium Faithful was good and really moved by Postecoglou's War Cry, with one said, “I love Big Ange instead.”

Another added: “Great, was anger out now that I cry.”

And another comment on Twitter was: “That speech and body language gave me shivers. The players must now be so motivated.”

They noticed: “What an emotional speech.”

Another chimed in: “Yes, I would first dive through a brick wall in front of him, ICL (I can't lie).”

The victory in the final of May 28 in Bilbao will make up for the miserable domestic form of Spurs, which has left them 16th in the Premier League table.
