Fans are convinced that they live in a simulation after they have seen Bournemouth that produce identical mistakes.
The cherries fell to a 2-0 defeat against Liverpool on Saturday, thanks to a Mohamed Salah-Brace.
The side of Andoni Iraola, however, was left to resolve controversial referee and a number of missed opportunities in the Vitality Stadium.
One of these opportunities saw Marcus Tavernier curl a shot on the inside of the pole from outside the box.
The ball was then back to the right side of the penalty area where Justin Kluisert had made an overlapping run.
The in-shape star had the perfect chance to score, but took his shot abuse and cut the efforts wide.
But fans with eagle eyes saw a creepy similarity with another missed opportunity that took place in almost exactly the same way.
During a match against Manchester City earlier this season, Tavernier received the ball on the edge of the area before he curled a shot on the inside of the post from outside the box.
The ball was then back to the right side of the penalty area where Adam Smith had made an overlapping run.
But the defender picked his effort and sent the ball well over the bar.
A fan online posted a video with the two chances in a comparison of side by side, causing fans to leave unbeliever.
Responding to the videos, a fan said: “We live in a Sim.”
A second said, “Wow, exactly the same structure. Directly from the training field. That is what coaching does, I think.”
A third added: “Is not in a way … It is exactly the same series and outcome.”
Another said, “I was blown up Spirit.”
A fifth said, “We live in a matrix.”
A sixth said: “Actors. We all live in a Truman show world.”
The most important difference with the two games was the result of the game.
While Bournemouth lost against Liverpool yesterday, they managed to beat Man City 2-1 during the November collision.
The defeat of Bournemouth against the League leaders of Arne Slot was their first defeat in 12 games since November.
The impressive run has pushed them into the division to the seventh and only one point outside the qualifying places of the Champions League.
