Ilkay Gundogan impressed Manchester City fans with a 'really beautiful' chance goal against Al Ain on Sunday evening.
The 34-year-old opened the score to the side from Abu Dhabi after just eight minutes when he lobed the goalkeeper with the help of his weaker left foot.
A bent corner of the right found Gundogan about 15 meters from the goal and he danced around the challenge of a defender before he dumbled the ball to Erling Handand at the distant pole.
What an attempt seemed to be, defeated the keeper, all ends before Haaland looked at the net, instead of stealing the goal for itself.
Responding to the goal on social media, a fan wrote: “If this was intentionally, the pus greenhouse for Gundogan OMG.”
Another tweet: “Man, the guilty goal of Gundogan was really beautiful.”
But not all fans were impressed. They responded: 'Commentator who praises the quality of Gundogan who has skill with his left foot LOL. For God's sake, an unintended goal is not a great goal, he missed the cross and the ball went into the drawer. '
