Liverpool has been very busy when it comes to the transfer market this summer and it seems that another Premier League stars have a switch to Anfield to Anfield in the near future
Brighton star Igor Julio has revealed that he has a move to Liverpool after he had encouraged a teammate to sign for the Reds. The Brazilian defender only signed for the seagulls in 2023 on the Italian side Fiorentina.
Since then he has been 49 performances for two seasons. Despite his limited opportunities, the 27-year-old claimed that it would be his dream to become a Liverpool player in the near future, while also encouraged that the star stitcher of Brighton Joao Pedro to strive to Anfield.
“Joao Pedro had told Brighton some time ago that his wish was to leave, to look for new things, to take the next step,” Igor told Trivela. “It seems that it will be difficult and complicated to stay here.
“We have to be honest, the club already knows that. (I am) very happy for him. He deserves it. He has been here for five years and has not played for a large team for five years. It is his moment, his time, so he can make the best decision and be happy wherever he is.
“He always told me that he really wants to live in London, so I think he will give priority to what comes from first.

Igor, 27, has two years left to run his contract with Brighton after his £ 14 million relocation from Fiorentina. The defender is supported to be very interested in his services on the way to the second part of the summer transfer window.

But it seems unlikely that Liverpool will be the clubs that follow him. The side of Arne Slot is well filled in the centerback, with Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate, Joe Gomez and Jarrel Quansah are all able to play in the position.
That situation could change if one of the last two would decide in the coming months to continue with the movements. But even then Liverpool probably seems to have their own goals.
