There is strong respect between UFC 317 Headliners Ilia Topuria and Charles Oliveira.
After he was not interested in continuing to make it difficult to cut down to featherweight, where he ruled most of 2024 as champions, Topuria starts a new chapter in his career this Saturday.
Topuria vs. Oliveira Headlines UFC 317, with the liberated lightweight title of Islam Makhachev on the line in the T-Mobile Arena of Las Vegas.
In the run -up, 'El Matador' has shown his usual high self -confidence. Topuria promises to do work by Oliveira despite the size of his Brazilian enemy and experiences benefits in the division.
But away from interviews and promotional work, respect is clear.
Ilia Topuria and Charles Oliveira have a respectful sauna meeting for UFC 317
Given their proximity in hunting hotels, visual material with opponents often appear against each other from the events.
This results in both respectful exchanges and the strange scuffle. In the case of Topuria and Oliveira it was the first of those two options.
The Spaniard posted a video of himself and Oliveira that shared a moving moment in a sauna during the UFC 317 Fight Week.
“That's what our sport is. It's never personal, everyone just fights for their dreams,” wrote Topuria in the caption.

Ilia Topuria predicts a devastating night for Charles Oliveira
Although the couple is respectful and on good conditions days out of their struggle, it did not prevent Topuria from making a number of brutal predictions.
'El Matador' has sworn 'Do Bronx' to finish in the same way as his title profit and defense from 2024, and Topuria has made a particularly horrible UFC 317 promise during a promo for the event.
“I feel so powerful at 155,” Topuria teased.
“I'm going to touch his chin and it will explode.”
Little has done that to influence Oliveira's confidence, however, with the Brazilian who is planning to walk ahead.
