It was recently announced that Ilia Topuria is confronted with Charles Oliveira in the Main Event of UFC 317.
The upcoming empty lightweight title of Islam Makhachever will be on the line on 28 June in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
In the meantime, Paddy Pimblett believes that beating Justin Gaethje will be enough to earn him a shot at UFC Gold.
Topuria enjoyed the Englishman when he was asked to respond to his daring call and title ambitions.
“Paddy Pimblett, he knows where the money is now,” said Topuria on WOW 19 on Saturday night.
“He has to pay for the parties he throws for himself.”

Paddy Pimblett tears the CV of Ilia Topuria
Earlier this week, Pimblett publicly claimed that Topuria has been 'hand -fed' opponents by the UFC.
The 30-year-old scouser believes that his last two opponents, Michael Chandler and Bobby Green, would beat almost everyone on the 16-0 MMA record of Topuria.
“He has done a lot in the sport, but I still think he is hand -fed opponents,” said Pimblett.
'[Max] Holloway had just fought at 155 [pounds]had a war with [Justin] Gaethje.
“People [Alexander Volkanovski] Was just switched off like two months earlier.
“Josh Emmett was like 37. Bryce [Mitchell]No matter how much I love Bryce, we know he is not a striker.
“Every fight he had before the title, Michael Chandler beats them all. I think Bobby Green beats them all.”
