Ilia Topuria has always radiated confidence and for his move to lightweight he has again predicted his fate.
When Ilia Topuria Alexander Volkanovski eliminated on UFC 298, it became obvious that the 28-year potential was the promotions, the next huge star.
'El Matador' continued to present his 'Aura' when he became the first hunter in the UFC history that is Max Holloway Knock -Out Knock -out, successfully defending his belt on UFC 308.
After collecting two of the largest scores in the 145LB division, Topuria shocked that he would leave the title and permanently move to the lightweight division.
And with that Topuria has ruthless a title fight against Islam Makhachev, the current lightweight King, has chased.

Ilia Topuria explains itself the champion of the lightweight division
After he was recently revealed that he will change his 'El Matador' nickname head of his potential collision with Makhachev, Ilia Topuria has made a huge explanation with regard to his status in the lightweight division.
“I am the lightweight world champion,” De Spaniard explained in an interview with Mens Health Spain.
“I am clear about it, otherwise I would not change (weight). I will not sign up for a competition without knowing if I will win or not … Nobody is at my level,” Topuria continued.
Despite the fact that he claims that he is all the lightweight champion, it is unclear whether Topuria's first fight with the weight class will come against the current champion since the transition.
Makhachev has made it clear that he is not interested in fighting against the 28-year-old until he first gets a victory over a top candidate. And with that Topuria and Charles Oliveira have been involved in an online feud, which may set up a number one competition fight.
Charles, it's better if you stay quiet. You have 10 losses: 5 by knockout, 4 by submission and 1 by decision. You are the competition, while I am the champion, the father of the entire division. I didn't come here to ask something. Here I am the one who is in charge.

Topuria did something similar prior to the fight against Volkanovski
This is not the first time that Topuria has put his reputation at stake, just like his UFC 298 title challenging Alexander Volkanovski, Topuria changed his Instagram -Bio to 'UFC Vederweight Champion'.
It was a huge point of conversation for their collision, in which some UFC fans thought he had kicked more than he could chew, who also accused him of trying to be Conor McGregor.
However, after having scored such a devastating knockout, Topurias pre-Fight prediction catapulted him even further in superstar.
