Ilia Topuria makes stunning claim about fights with his two greatest rivals for dream UFC Spain event

Ilia Topuria is not a shortage of options for major fights after his victory over UFC 317.

Despite his intense face-off with Paddy Pimblett, Topuria recently stated that this might not be his next fight with 'The Baddy' who still needs a victory.

Although there are other contenders in the mix, such as Arman Tsarukyan, who wants to get hold of at Topuria, 'El Matador' also has a different goal in mind.

It will probably not happen for him this year, but the undefeated champion has spoken a lot about wanting to challenge Welterweight in the future.

This could lead to a long -awaited collision with Islam Makhachev, which is still very much on the Radar of Topuria after both men recently left their titles to increase weight classes.

Ilia Topuria claims that he would fight against Islam Makhachev and Paddy Pimblett on the same evening in an ideal scenario

During a recent press conference in Spain, Ilia Topuria spoke about the potential opponents that he could come across now that he is the lightweight champion.

Although Arman Tsarukyan and Justin Gaethje are convinced that they earn the next lightweight title shots, there are two larger fights for 'El Matador'.

Opposite Paddy Pimblett or Islam Makhachev in the near future would lead to one of the largest UFC title fights in recent years after the feud that Topuria has developed with both men.

During the press conference, the unbeaten champion was asked about the prospect to win a third belt at Welterweight and possibly confronted with Makhakev.

In the response from Topuria, posted by Alvaro Colmenero on YouTube, he outlined his ideal scenario, including the breaching of the Octagon to Spain and fights against his two biggest rivals on the same night.

“Absolutely. For me, yes. If it were up to me, we would have UFC Spain next Saturday against Makhachev in the first round and against Paddy in the second.”

Ilia Topuria fires back to Arman Tsarukyan by claiming that he is the 'easiest of all'

While the face-off between Ilia Topuria and Paddy Pimblett certainly got people talking, there were some who were disappointed to see Arman Tsarukyan being skipped.

The #1 competition successfully weighed the back -up hunter for UFC 317 after he had previously missed a title shot when he withdrew from UFC 311 due to an injury.

Topuria pushed back against the idea that Tsarukyan is the most difficult test in the lightweight division by referring to the canceled title fight in January.

“Tsarukyan is the easiest of all,” Topuria said at the press conference. “It is much easier than Paddy, much easier. I don't even know what to call it. Imagine you have the opportunity to fight for the world title, and when the day comes, you pull out because your back hurts. I can't get pregnant, I can't even understand it.
