His seven previous Pro victories had all come through a submission with six of them in the very first round.
With a mix of rear naked bushing, triangles, bricks, guillotines and anaconda-moor rinsing, Topuria easily put his opponents away as soon as the fight hit the floor.
His UFC match with Bryce Mitchell gave fans a look at what he could do in the grip fairs, but we may not have seen the full size of his skills at the moment.
Charles Oliveira has the most entries in the UFC history, but he has been immersed in the past
Charles Oliveira has the record for most entries in the UFC history at 16, not to mention most finishes in general at 20.
He has coupled with the quality of quality, such as Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje, but that does not mean that opponents have not become better on the ground in the past.
Together with people like Ricardo Lamas and Anthony Pettis, Islam Makhachev was the newest man who underwent 'Do Bronx' when he caught him with an arm-triangle choke after he dropped him on UFC 280.
If Ilia Topuria is able to cause some damage with his hands, he will not hesitate to try to submit Oliveira, even if the ground game of the Brazilian is incredibly good.
