Ilia Topuria could be set to reveal some important announcements with regard to his fight on UFC 317 within a few hours.
On 28 June the Octagon returns to the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for the map that will lead the International Fight Week of 2025.
Fans still speculate about which major fights will surpass the bill, but one thing we know is that Topuria will be involved after he has announced when his next outing will take place.
This led to the question with whom the former Feeder Wain champion will be confronted, in which some suggest that he will immediately challenge the lightweight belt after photos of a meeting between Islam Makhachev and the Hunter Campbell of the UFC.
Topuria already dropped an important announcement for UFC 317 when he appeared on Spanish TV and he could do it again on 8 May.

Ilia Topuria will provide more information about his UFC 317 -backing in the appearance of El Hormiguero
In a recent message on social media, El Hormiguero announced that Ilia Topuria will appear in the show later (8 May).
El Hormiguero is a Spanish TV program that regularly contains interviews with celebrities that have recently had sports stars such as Carlos Alcaraz and Marcelo, in addition to actors such as Antonio Banderas and Millie Bobby Brown, as special guests.
The channel announced that Topuria will appear on the show via an image on social media that confirmed that he will talk to everything about his upcoming fight on UFC 317.
We know that 'La Leyenda' will fight on this date and although there are signs that suggest that Islam Makhachev is also preparing for a return to the Octagon, we still do not know that this huge matchup will take place on 28 June.
Instead, Topuria could be confronted with a top lightweight such as Charles Oliveira or Justin Gaethje, but the caption of the post by El Hormiguero certainly suggests that the undefeated star will shed some light on the details of his next fight.
“Tonight we will receive the champion of the UFC with 16 wins, Ilia Topuria! He will tell us all the details about his next fight in Las Vegas on June 28.”
Belal Muhammad is not worried about the current plans of Islam Makhachev
The most important factor that could prevent Ilia Topuria from fighting Islam Makhachev is if the lightweight champion decides to go up a weight class.
Makhachev who prepared for UFC 317 was not the only point of discussion after the photos of him that Hunter Campbell met, while fans wondered if this was to talk about his welter weight movement.
Belal Muhammad, who has trained with the Makhachev and his team in the past, defends the Welterweight title this weekend at UFC 315, but he is not worried about decisions that can be made behind his back.
“No, I don't think they would do that,” MMA Junkie told MMA. 'I talk to Khabib [Nurmagomedov] all the time. He even sent me a message recently, so as I said, those guys are so big about loyalty and I am in the same way. ”

Regardless of what happens on UFC 315 on Saturday, it seems likely that we will have more clarification with regard to both the lightweight and the divisions of Welterweight will come next week.
