Conor McGregor has reiterated his $250 million price tag for a return to the ring with Logan Paul this year.
The former two-weight UFC champion has been eyeing a return to the octagon for the past year. But in recent weeks he has set his sights on a boxing exhibition with the youngest of the Paul brothers; Logan, which was supposed to take place in India.
Rumor has it that India's richest family; the Ambanis, would fund monstrous purses for the couple to bring the appeal to the nation. And while Paul has remained tight-lipped, McGregor has been keeping his fans informed with regular updates.
Conor McGregor details 'tentative agreement' for fight against Logan Paul
Last month, Conor McGregor sent social media into a frenzy when he confirmed he has entered into a 'tentative agreement' to meet Logan Paul in India this year. He responded to rumors that he could fight UFC featherweight champion Ilia Topuria, noting that he would be coming back to the ring instead.

Fascinatingly, he and Paul have a mutual opponent in Floyd Mayweather; who the UFC legend faced off against in 2017 before the YouTuber faced him in 2021. Since that 2017 appearance, McGregor has not officially been in the boxing ring, although he continues to train at the famed Crumlin Boxing Club.
“The rumors of a fight with Topurio are false,” McGregor wrote on X. “I have tentative agreements with the Ambani family to meet Logan Paul at a boxing exhibition in India. I agreed. I will then seek my return to the Octagon.”
Conor McGregor sends $250 million message to Logan Paul as fight talks continue
Since that announcement, McGregor has reposted a hoax report several times claiming he and Paul will each make $250 million for the fight. He has made the figure a topic of discussion in the combat world.
Analysts have discussed the economics of the fight, as well as the theory that the event was part of an apparently fictional 'Visit India' tourism campaign. And McGregor seems to think it's a great idea, reposting the claim multiple times.
