Paddy Pimblett says he is much bigger than Ilia Topuria
Ilia Topuria has recently looked out of sensational, with 'El Matador' that brutally display both Max Holloway and Alexander Volkanovski.
However, he has not yet confronted with Paddy Pimblett, with the scouser still full of conviction that he could be the man to beat the icon.
Although Poirier it says that there is only one MMA star from featherweight to good weight that could prevent Topuria from becoming a three-weight world champion, and it is not Pimblett, the grappler is still unclear that he would like to face his opponent in the Octagon to see.
In an interview with Eldoberdanmma, he insisted: 'People don't understand how much bigger I am than Ilia. I would like to do a Staredown with him, just so that everyone can see how much bigger I am actually than him.
“Don't get me wrong, he's very good. Only because I don't like him does not mean that I sit here and lie.
“I think he was quickly followed by the belt because Alexander Volkanovski had already liberated the featherweight division.
“If he wants to come lightweight, I wait here. I don't think someone in the division has more claim to welcome him than me.
“I would like to have an honest fight with him and kick him around the Gaff.”
Ilia Topuria's next challenge to be decided, because two top candidates are booked in April to clash
While Pimblett would enjoy the opportunity to make one of the pound-for-pound best, it seems unlikely for the time being,
The rumor mill suggests that the legend could go directly into the title of the title at lightweight, with a collision with the Islam Makhachev that aroused the appetite of the MMA community.
With two stars out of 145 pounds, however, it is said that it would be possible to put it against each other on an exciting fight, Topuria could defend his belt before he focuses on his next championship.
